John Richards has been performing in the music industry for a number of years.
Sometime ago he made a decision to become more specialised and dedicate his performances to the sort of music he loves performing. Although he has a passion for all types of music including Rock and Pop, he found he was increasingly turning to Swing and Jazz studying the phrasing and intonations of Frank Sinatra.
Although he’d never turn his back on much of the music forming part of his formative years he decided to concentrate on the Big Band sound and feature Swing, Ballads and Jazz in this act. These include songs made famous by Dean Martin,Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, Bobby Darin, Matt Monro,Nat King Cole,and other artists. As far as John is concerned Francis Albert Sinatra’ reigns supreme as “The Chairman Of the Board”.
John is no stranger to the recording studio and is currently planning to record an album featuring a number of songs he performs during his concerts.
John is at his best when performing the songs and the music of Frank Sinatra. Audience members have commented that his performance bought goose bumps to their skin. Other comments include that he clearly loves performing to live audiences bringing them the music they love to hear. He has a wonderful voice and his attention to detail shines through not only in the relaxed delivery of each song but also in the trouble he takes with his appearance. He effortlessly delivers exactly what his audience expects.
